The central place for all your Stitched Up Festival information with maps and the latest news of stitchy happenings around the town and further afield. Featuring:

  • Stitching Through Time – A Celebration of 20 Years – a non-juried, non-judged community textile exhibition, vote for your favourite in the People’s Choice Award with the winning entry receiving cash prizes
  • 20 Year Anniversary tribute including slide show and works by the Stitched Up 1999 organisers
  • Demonstrations by local craftspeople
  • Festival Opening Saturday July 6, 11 am, Free Event, all welcome

A Sense of Place – Yesterday and Today

Around 40 textile artists responded to the Stitched Up challenge - 2019 will be 20 years since the first Wangaratta Stitched Up Textile Festival and this theme gives an opportunity to reflect on our sense of place over time. Created using a variety of textile techniques such as weaving, embroidery, applique and patchwork.
